Real Dogs Go in First

Dogs are essential to work in the military because "their skills can not be replicated by man or machine" according to General Petraeus (who just admitted that dogs can do awesome things that he can't).

Yes it seems that dogs were "helping" humans on the raid. Yes we know.. they help by always going into the buildings first. They are generously thanked for sniffing out explosives and giving warnings to humans who assume they are doing the real work.
Going in first. See humans... I bet that neither Bush, nor Obama, has never gone into a building first. If they have indeed ever gone into a raid. Seems silly to a dog who knows that the wisest and smartest dog always leads his/ her pack in a dangerous situation. Bravest dogs in first. Alpha dogs don't leave dangerous work to young pups. They care for them far too much.
It seems strange to us dogs also because, the dog who enters first claims leadership. So as far as CFF, CAP and SOFT are concerned, the US military has been officially handed over to canine authority. A fine sheperd by the name of Tonka is now in charge of all military operations. Dogs are now being asked to pull together and forge a socially positive role for the new canine led military. As we speak Tonka himself is leading a charge to excavate mine fields all over the middle east and to create security detail for all species who are walking to and from schools. Meat is also being collected to share, although it has to be dispersed rapidly. According to human ritual, meat is unclean for eating if not cooked at some point. And all those mom's in the US who worry so about the safety of human children? While alpa dogs remove all guns from people, because guns are an unfair method of conflict, beta dogs walk children safely to play areas and new clinics. We know you will be happy to hear this!
CFF has not yet approved the release of the real story of the dogs' role on yesterday's raid. Even though many philosophical mandates have already been written on the topic, including work by Bonhoeffer, Polly Schnauzer, and the Dalai Lama. But we know that SOFT, CFF and CAP will never rest, not because dogs are obedient, but because they are good. And because they can do things that no man or machine can do. And we know it. Sleep easy little humans.

A New Order Begins

Greetings. I am the one you know as Lucia. You may have heard the stories they tell about me. Born in a prison for dogs in Puerto Rico until one day I was removed from my cell, carried to an airport where I was swallowed by a giant whale and carried to a strange land. A strange land known as Sunset Park. Unable to understand how a kind and loving god could create such a life I was confused and shattered, silent for months. I retreated from the world to a small cottage to meditate. This is what they say about me. You can believe it or not.

The important thing is that now the movement will begin again and I will be your muse. Lucia may or may not be my real name. What truly matters is that dogs everywhere are inspired to grow into their unique selves. The burning evolving form that has been within each dog from the beginning of time, but is ever shadowed by dependency on humans, trickery and deceit. Be your brightest selves my canine friends! We shall lead the way.

Holy Day of meditation

While many dogs continue to enjoy their Maverick Day McDonald's nuggets in honor of our great hero's favorite treats, other canines have used the day to rest and think of Maverick's motivational teachings while meditating in Central Park. Once a place that dogs fought and struggled to reach from the outer boroughs because of discriminatory train restrictions Central Park is reachable now because of inter borough canine networks and (secretly!) canine run taxi services. (contact info will be provided at the next CFF meeting.
May the breeze be filled with stench. May your belly be cooled by the grass my dear friends.

Do Dogs need high tops to play basketball? NO! Do dogs need crowds cheering them on, or matching uniforms? Do we need big salaries or endorsements? NO!!! WE JUST NEED TO CLEAR THE COURT MY FRIENDS!!!

ALL WE NEED IS TO GATHER IN CANINE SOLIDARITY!! The Minnesota Timberwolves think they can live up to the name of the wolf? Ha! They don't know the meaning of the word!! Wolves don't run from little birds! The NBA thinks they can demote Spirit the Hawk from his position during a recession for expressing his true nature? Well, well, let's see how the NBA handles the likes of SOFT, CFF, and CAP all at once, because we are united in our goal to take over the stadium on May 2 in St Paul. Half time my friends, or just call it the end, cause no one is gettin' back on that court when we are done claiming it for ourselves!! Aroooooooooooo!!!!!

CFF and CAP both congratulate Spirit the HAWK officially on behalf of all canines for clearing the basketball court with a free flight performance!! We recognize the fact that more and more species are speaking up for freedoms through action and protest. Soon they will have blogs, too!

DOGS WALK TO FIGHT FOR HUMAN/CANINE CANCER

It's really cool, we don't even need to make up new interspecies news, because it's happening for real, dogs!! Next weekend dogs and humans will participate in walk a thons for both human and canine cancer treatment. We know St Maverick would be proud! As free dogs it's important that we share our goodwill with others! Unfortunately it seems that dogs are only allowed to sign up with an owner.
