While many dogs continue to enjoy their Maverick Day McDonald's nuggets in honor of our great hero's favorite treats, other canines have used the day to rest and think of Maverick's motivational teachings while meditating in Central Park. Once a place that dogs fought and struggled to reach from the outer boroughs because of discriminatory train restrictions Central Park is reachable now because of inter borough canine networks and (secretly!) canine run taxi services.
